Are You Treating Your Business Like a Million Dollar Business?

You have a dream of having the time freedom to enjoy the lifestyle of going on fancy cruises.  While this is a nice dream to have, you have to give something up for it. No, not your soul, but your time, dedication, and consistent actions on a daily basis to have this million dollar lifestyle.

You must treat your business like a million dollar business.  

If this is what you want, you must treat your business like a million dollar business, not a hobby.  Sometimes the leaders in our companies are asked, "How did you make it to the top position?"  People think they must have been lucky, but this is not true. They worked hard and were dedicated to their goals.  They didn't treat their new business like a hobby.  Only doing things to grow the business here and there, but they worked on a daily basis whether it is online or on the phones.

It doesn't matter, decide how you are going to build your business and do it everyday, Monday thru Friday.  It's the little things you do everyday for your business that will help you grow.

You hear the stories of so and so made it to the top in X amount of days or so and so made a gazillion dollars in 3 months!  It had to be luck, right?  WRONG...

The stories about those who just came into the business and made top earner in X amount of time, the key to their success is that the more they worked at it the better they got.  They found the right people to work with.  This is normal for most.

These fast starters have been working a long time and have been consistent.  Thats when your business moves forward.  You have to treat it like a business.  If you give your business enough respect and the time it takes, you will build it and succeed.

Don't get frustrated, stay focused doing the little fundamentals on a daily basis, good things will begin to happen.  What is the alternative?  You are going to work hard anyway, right?  Why not put that energy into something that grows for your dreams and help others realize their dreams.  Re focus on your WHY and you will make a difference.  People will show up when you stay focused and continue to grow.

I heard this term yesterday and I love it, we are "Lifestyle Engineers."  We help people design the life of their dreams and give them the tools to succeed.  Its up to you to do the work it requires.

You are only one person away from success.   Stay in the game :)

Are you smart enough to be a home based business entrepreneur?

How smart are you, anyway?  Are you smart enough to be a home based business entrepreneur?  I know that is a curious question.

During a training review this morning, something struck me and I wanted to share it with you.  We always want to correct others or “fix” them when a mistake is made or if they are doing something different from how we would do it.

We all would like to think we are smarter than the next guy/girl but are we really?  Are you really smarter?  Does it even matter in our industry?  Not really.

How smart do you have to be as a Home Based Business Owner?

The only thing that matters is the actions you are taking everyday to grow your home based business and as a human being.  We are constantly growing, even Einstein continued to grow as a human being.  Success leaves clues, there is actually a recipe to follow.  Anyone can follow a recipe, so what are the actions you need to take?  What is your recipe?  Your team will have that for you.

Stop looking at what you think you know and look at your results. Start looking at your actions and are they getting you closer to your goals.   If you think you are smarter than the next guy/girl, show them with your actions.

Asking questions will get you closer to what you want in your home based business.  If you see someone who could benefit from your advice or your opportunity, lead them with a variety of open ended questions and find out what their desire is, not yours.  You will begin to see the value they bring to the situation.

Respect the person you are speaking with, ask them questions and find out what their goals are.  Share your value with them and help them see their value.  Show others how smart you really are by the actions you take daily, not what you think you know…

Happy Monday, fellow entrepreneurs.

Today is the beginning of the second week of the New Year.  Are you still in line with the goals you set out for yourself?  Some may have come across several challenges and obstacles already.  Stay on course.  Especially when it comes to success in your home based business.  You must stay persistent.

This has been an interesting year, hasn't it?  There have been so many things going on all over the world as well in our lives.  I want to write this today to remind you to stay focused.  Stay focused on your goals and dreams.

Yes, there is a lot of chaos in the world.  Yes, our country has gone crazy.  Yes, there is earthquake and tsunami devastation.  Yes, it has affected us in one way or another.  Maybe it's to be prepared for natural disasters in your area or maybe it is to reconnect with an old friend you haven't seen in a few years. Maybe it's to go back to Church if you haven't been in a while and heal your heart.  Either way, it's time to focus on what's good for you and your soul.

I know for me being here in Southern California and having a brother living in Hawaii, this recent disaster had me very concerned about him and his safety as well as earthquakes here in San Diego.  Well, I thank GOD that he and his family are safe and healthy.

So what are we going to do?  Dwell on what we can not change?  There has been a lot of change in my life recently and I am grateful to have family and friends for support.  I see all this change as a reminder of what is important.

What is important to you?  Do you still remember what your goals and dreams are?  Are you keeping a mindset that will serve you and keep you on track?

What steps do you still need to take to get where you want to go?  Only YOU are responsible for your success.

Don't get distracted.  Stay focused.  Live each day with LOVE in your heart.  Pray for those that have been affected by recent events.  Write down what you require and keep daily actions plans in front of you everyday.  Keep your goals in front of you.  Remember WHY you have big dreams.  You deserve it.  Life is too short.  Live, Laugh, and Love.
